Shouldn't the "Holy Land" be treated like any place of reverence regardless of Denomination?

Regardless of Christian, Jew or Muslim don't we all agree that GOD is the common thread that should bring us together not kill and erradicate one another, these things keep me up at night, talking to GOD!
