Unfortunately, TB is incorrect about the FDA. Toothpastes are considered cosmetic and, as such, do not fall under the FDA regulations. That being said, any toothpaste that has the ADA seal on it has been shown to work. In my practice, we are seeing a marked reduction in above gum line tartar formation in patients using Crest ProHealth so if you have a problem with that then I'd recommend you try it.
