9 yr old Australian Sheppard now afraid of the furnace?

dogs are very much like humans some things that they are not familiar with scare them but after they learn they are harmless they learn to deal with or uncontrolable forget about it will be fine im sure it is just u looking for your dogs best interest wich u havent been around in a while understandable just let it be and befor u notice.. u wont notice....
