Why was the group, the Hollies...called the Hollies?

Graham Nash and Alan Clarke loved Buddy Holly as teens, so they named the band after him. The Hollies had more top-40 hits in the 1960's than any other UK group except the Beatles. The Hollies should definitely be in the Rock n Roll HOF. They are nominated for this year, but I dont believe they've voted yet. Write your Congressman!
