Ever have a parent cut ties with you later in life?

Same thing happened to me, after my parents separated when i was about 11, he hardly ever contacted me. and when he did it was to get information so he could get out of paying alimony/child support, even though he made 3x as much as my mom. I definitely feel abandoned, angry, hurt and 100 different things. He refuses to talk to me now. It still hurts.
